SDA Hymnal (“the app”) is a free, offline hymnal and Bible-study app. Your privacy is simple to describe because the app is built to collect nothing.
Your favorites, custom lists, recently-viewed history, and settings are stored only in the app’s local storage on your own device. This information never leaves your device and is not accessible to us. If your device has Android backup enabled, Android may include this app data in your personal Google backup — that backup is controlled entirely by you and your Google Account, not by us.
Clearing the app’s data (Android Settings → Apps → SDA Hymnal → Storage → Clear data) or uninstalling the app permanently removes all of the above.
The app works fully offline and does not require an internet connection. It does not make network requests for its features.
The app contains only hymn and Bible text and collects no data, so it is safe for all ages.
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this same location with a new “Last updated” date.
